MORROW, Stacie Hilda (Gray)

October 16, 1924-December 13, 2007

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the December 13th, passing of Stacie Hilda Morrow, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Stacie will be lovingly remembered forever by Bob, best friend and husband of 62 years, sons Robert (Rennie), David (Sherri) and Roger, grandchildren Amanda, Andrea, Matt and Tanya, dear nieces, nephews and in-laws. Stacie was born in Saskatoon where she spent her childhood before moving to Vancouver in her high school years. Soon after high school at King George, Stacie met and married Bob, the love of her life. Together they created a strong loving and happy family life. Stacie's interests were numerous and varied as she kept active by problem solving and learning new things. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, stained glass, gardening, hobby farming, square dancing, volunteering, horseback riding, homemaking and traveling. Her birds and llamas gave her much enjoyment. Always a positive and practical person, Stacie thought of others' needs first. One of the greatest gifts of love she gave to her family was her amazing emotional strength during her illness. She maintained her delightful humour, style, dignity and grace until her passing. Throughout her illness and at her passing at home, Stacie was surrounded by the love of her devoted husband and family. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Stacie's life from 12:30 - 4:00 pm, January 6, 2008 at 123 188th Street Surrey, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stacie's memory may be made to B.C. Children's Hospital Foundation where Stacie volunteered for over twenty years, or to Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation.
