"A Child of God"
Our dear Stina passed away on July 12, peacefully and without pain, in White Rock, BC. At the age of 85. Stina was a much loved daughter, sister, aunt, and great-aunt to her siblings and to 45 plus nieces and nephews, and will also be missed terribly by many of her church, and all who knew her, and fellow residents at her long term care facility.
A gentle and God-fearing soul, she was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Herman, her sisters Gloria (Bill) and Madeline, her brothers Chappy (Betty) and Douglas. Survived by Camillia (Peter), Monte (Pat), Mary (Ron), Joan (Nick), Kathryn (Ray), and Edward.
Although she had serious health problems, including a major brain aneurysm 20 years ago which left her legs paralyzed, she still lived an active and full life, never complained, always cheerful and thanking God every day for His many blessings and for strength to keep on going. She always waited for the day she would "pass on" and meet Jesus face-to- face. Now she is complete! We thank God for her life and love.
Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 19 at 11:00 o'clock at Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1153 Fir Street, White Rock, BC.
