FURNEAUX, F.A. STUART 1922 - 2014
On August 5th, 2014, Stuart passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord, Jesus Christ, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased in 2010 by Sula, his beloved wife of 68 years, and sisters Grace Rogers and Ella Roberts. He is survived by his brother, Ron (Elsie) Furneaux of Regina; daughter, Gloria (Rob) Slade; son, Larry; granddaughters, Karen (Michael) Hoff and Linda Hutchinson; and great-grandchildren Ryan, Trevor, Devon and Hannah. Early training in radio technology with the RCAF during WW II led to a highly successful career in telecommunications, notably with Motorola, and later with Sinclair Radio Laboratories, first as Western Area Manager, and then as President. Stu will be remembered for his boundless enthusiasm, strong convictions, boisterous laughter and generous heart. Memorial service to be held Sunday, Aug. 24th at 2:30pm, White Rock Baptist Church (Fireside Room), 1657 - 140th St., Surrey, B.C. Reception to follow.
