Suan Passed away peacefully on February 9, 2019 at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, Canada, at the age of 92. Born July 1, 1926 in Haarlem, the Netherlands.
He is predeceased by his parents Maria and Marijus, sister Helen, and loving wife Miep in 2009. Suan is survived by his 6 loving children; Eduard (Jo-Anne), Marianne (Larry), Ronald, Rudolf, Irene (Satish), Karen, and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister Ria, along with many nieces and nephews.
Suan lived a healthy life to the respectful age of 92, with few regrets. He was a kind, gentle and loving man who was dedicated to his family. He played a variety of roles in his life: Husband, Father, Grandpa, great grandpa, brother, Uncle and friend. He will be remembered for his dignity, humility and honour. Rest in peace Dad, knowing that you lived a full and happy life, surrounded by those that loved you.
A celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at 1:00 pm, at the Peace Portal Alliance Church, 15128 27B Avenue Surrey BC V4P 1P2 (Corner of King George Blvd. & 152nd Street).
