Standing like an anvil when beat upon, Terry fought very hard against chronic illness and affliction he endured without complaint.

Born in Carleton Place and raised in Almonte Ontario in the Ottawa Valley. He married Joanna Riffe in Arlington Va. on June 29,1963.

On returning to Canada after serving as a diplomatic courier for the British embassy he joined the Goodyear Tire Co. as a sales manager. In 1974 he went to work for the Ontario Ministry of Labour as employment standards officer posted to the Algoma district.

Terry served in the Salvation Army ministering in chronic care facilities with the league of mercy.

When Joanna was transferred to CNIB in British Columbia, Terry developed a children's blacksmith program at historic Stewart Farm in Surrey. In Bellingham Wa. Salvation Corps. Terry and Joanna organized a street ministry where they helped the homeless and less fortunate.

Terry leaves behind his wife Joanna, son Terence Kenneth (Tara) grandson Joshua, daughter Kimberly Elliott (Chris).
