1925-2019 ~ We celebrate a life well lived/loved, but with sadness we announce Ted's passing. Ted peacefully met the arms of his trusted Saviour Apr 20, 2019.
Ted served with the Canadian Scottish:1943-1946-WWII, was wounded in 1945, & returned a decorated war veteran. Ted & Hilda married in 1952 & had two sons. Three grandchildren were welcomed & one great-grandson. Ted, fondly called Teddy, was large & caring.
We will miss his presence in our family-he is the last of a family generation. Ted was predeceased by his wife Hilda & son Bernie, father Adolf, mother Olga, brothers-Richard, Alex & sisters-Leta, Lydia, Elsie, Elise, Alma, Linda. He is dearly missed by his son James, daughter-in-law Evon & grandchildren Candice, Ryan/Tara, Nicole, great-grandson Theo.
Our family would like to thank the loving caregivers at Peace Portal Seniors Village for their compassion, Teddy was well loved by each of them. A private family Celebration of Life will honour Dad.
