Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of the heart of the Stoney family, Theresa Stoney at the age 93 of White Rock, BC. Theresa was an exceptionally loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Auntie, Nurse, and Friend to many. She joins her late loving husband Russell Stoney in heaven.
Theresa is survived by her 3 children: Karren Stoney (Denis), Russell Stoney, and Rodney Stoney (Karen). As well as 4 grand children: Drew Anderson (Taylor), Tamara Stratis (Carter), Levi Legroulx (Sarah) and Sierra Legroulx.
Terry Stoney was born in Apple Hill, Ontario and later travelled by train from Montreal to the West Coast Of British Columbia with her best friend Janet. She resided in Alert Bay BC where she met her husband Russell.
In 1964 Terry and Russell moved to White Rock BC where they ran a grocery store for many years, Terry's Market. Terry and Russell also loved spending time camping in their camper van.
After they sold the store Terry spent many years working as a nurse specializing in physiotherapy at the Peace Arch Hospital. In her time away from work Terry spent many hours in the kitchen cooking many nutritious soups, her famous date squares or in her garden, growing her own vegetables.
Terry also loved to sew, read, and walk daily.
Terry adored her grandkids and loved to spend as much time as she could with them. Just like Terry's strong love for the sunshine, her presence was always warm and welcoming to all. As Terry would say " I had a good life"
Please join us in celebrating Terry Stoney's life October 15th at the Kwomais Point Park 1367 128th Street Surrey, BC from 2:00-4:00pm.
