t is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Colin Paterson (Tom) of White Rock who left us on October 31, 2024. Tom, one of 6 children of Tom and Nellie Paterson from Scotland, was born in Port Alberni, British Columbia July 27, 1935. Tom is predeceased by his parents, sisters Rose and Margaret, and brothers David and Alexander 'Sandy'. Missing Tom dearly is his wife Carolyn, brother Bob, daughter Denise, and son Scott (Sandra). Tom's grandchildren Alexander (Hunter), Avonlee (Brandon), and Harrison were very close to their Papa and will remember the wonderful times they spent with him growing up. Tom also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends, who will also miss him. Roxy the cat has been missing Tom too. We will miss his smile and sense of humour, love of fun and adventure, storytelling, and his kindness, loyalty, generosity, support, courage, strength, and his love. We will always carry your memory forever in our hearts.
