Tijmen 'Theo' Van Geemen

September 1, 1931 - September 25, 2021
Theo was born in Nieuwer Amstel, The Netherlands on September 1, 1931, to Wilhelmus & Suzanna van Geemen and was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
He was married for 61 years to the love of his life, Johanna (predeceased). Cherished father to Bill, Susan (Steve), John (Roelien), Debbie (Glen), Nelly-Ann (Luke), Patricia (Dave) and Richard (Sheronika). Well-loved grandfather and great grandfather to 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and another two on the way! Beloved brother, uncle, and friend.
Theo will be remembered for his steadfast faith in his Lord and Savior, devotion to his wife and children, and a song on his lips. He has left a legacy of the importance of family, a strong work ethic, the joy of laughter and playfulness as well as the value of friendship.
Theo is predeceased by his wife Johanna, his sister Margaretha Pyper, brother-in-law Tom Pyper, brother-in-law Henk De Klerk, and granddaughter Nicole van Geemen. He is survived by his sister Janna De Klerk and brother Anton (Emmy) Van Geemen.
A celebration of Theo's life will be held at Peace Portal Alliance Church 15128 - 27B Avenue Surrey, BC on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 2:30PM.
