GURSOY, Tom (Atanur)- Born January 15th 1946 in Ankara Turkey, passed away February 14, 2011. Survived by his wife Anna, his Uncle Omer and other relatives in Turkey, cousins in the United States, adopted "daughter for free" Aylin and many, many friends in Canada, the US and Europe who loved and admired him very much. Tom moved to Hamilton, Ontario in 1963, participated in a number of business interests in Southern Ontario until moving to Vancouver in 1973. He operated driving schools in Vancouver and White Rock, taught hundreds of drivers to be worthy citizens of the road and later operated TG Enterprises, a computer specialty business. Tom was the ultimate "Mr. Gadget" and his software and computer business was one of the best kept secrets in town. He will be loved and remembered by all those who knew him, he had a marvelous sense of humor, he was an intelligent, kind and loving friend to many, he will be dearly missed and always remembered. Visitation to be held Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre. Funeral Service Friday, February 18, 2011 at 11:00 am at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831-28th Ave., Surrey, B.C.
