SCHNEIDER, TOM
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tom Schneider after a lengthy & courageous battle with Parkinson's. Lovingly remembered by his wife, Natalie, his children Victor (Kristin), Allen (Susan), Gary (Sonya), Randy, Danny (Lani), Linda (Bob), Grandchildren Jason, Jake and Samantha & by Hilda Schneider
Tom immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1951, settling in Saskatchewan & working in farming and construction. He met and married Hilda and they had six children. The family moved to White Rock in 1967 where Tom established a construction business and became well regarded in the community.
Tom married Natalie in 1985 with whom he shared both his work & his passion for the outdoors. Together they enjoyed skiing, mountain climbing, hiking, canoeing and cycling. Sadly his illness slowly limited his ability to further pursue these passions. However he was still able to enjoy watching Curling, the Saskatchewan Roughriders & his beloved Habs.
Our sincere thanks go to the staff of Hogg 2 at the Peace Arch Hospital for their compassion & excellent care over the years. Thanks also to the White Rock Hospice Society.
Memorial Service to be held December 20th at 10:00 a.m. Good Shepherd Church, 2250 150th Street Surrey, BC.
