November 7, 1923 - October 13, 2019
Late on October 13, 2019 a generous and gentle man slipped peacefully from this life to join his wife, his lover, and his closest friend of 72 years, Joyce. Always smiling, Trevor had the knack of making those around him feel good. Born in Duncan B.C., the only child of Hester (Barker) and Llewellyn (Lew) Price, he grew up in Vancouver attending Kerrisdale and Lord Bing schools where he fell in love with Joyce Culley. They were married in 1944 while he was serving in the RCAF as a flight instructor.
With the war over Trevor joined his father at Price Printing Limited at 6th and Granville. It was known for many years for high quality product and innovative techniques.
Seldom apart and always there for one another, he and Joyce enjoyed fun and adventure with their friends from the 'Mayfair Gang', the 'Freeman Beach Gang', and members of their churches. The cabin at Freeman Beech in Point Roberts gave their family and friends many years of enjoyment.
After raising his family in the Dunbar area of Vancouver, he retired to South Surrey to take up hobbies from bee- keeping to woodworking. He and Joyce also enjoyed many travels to Europe, Australia and R/Ving around North America.
Trevor is survived by his two sons, John (Bev), David (Anne), his grandchildren Jenni, Chris (Jacqueline), Cassie (Jay), Will (Aynsley) and Lisa (Michael). Also missing their Great Papa are his three great-grandsons, Jacob, Owen and Jack.
Our deepest gratitude to the dedicated staff at Whitecliff Manor for the wonderful care and love that ensured Trevor's last years were happy and comfortable and for keeping his ever- present smile to the end.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 2nd at Morgan Creek Golf Course at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to the CNIB or Union Gospel Mission.
