BARRA, Ursula
BARRA - Ursula passed away peacefully in the arms of her family in Irene Thomas Hospice on March 5, 2011. Predeceased by her husband Karl in 2005. She will be lovingly remembered by her son John (Bonnie), daughter Michele (Andrew), and four grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Cameron and Lucia. She will also be missed by family and friends including sister Renate Trautmann (Hans) of Bous, Germany and brother Gunter Gier (Inge) of Saarlouis, Germany. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to the Delta Hospice Society or the White Rock / South Surrey Hospice Society would be greatly appreciated.
Mom was one of God's truly beautiful people. Her spirit and her light touched the hearts of all of those that she met. She will be greatly missed as she was called home much too soon, and yet the world is a little bit brighter because she gave so much to the people that loved her.
A funeral mass will be held at 1pm on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Good Shepherd Church - 2250 150 Street, Surrey, BC.
