HIGGINS, (Pridham), Verna Myra.
Passed away May 25th, 2009 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her parents, Sam and Edith; siblings, Norman, Gwen, Dorothy and half brother Sam; granddaughter Jodi, grandson Ryan. Survived by her husband Warren and children Barb, Karen (Jim), Doug, Jim (Sandy) and Roger (Karen); grandchildren Corri (Mark), Jayne (Don), Jeff (Lori), Ginger and Alicia. Great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly Brooke, Jayla, Jordan, and one on the way. Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, she brought her love for the beautiful parks and lakes of Northern Saskatchewan (particularly Waskesiu) to life for her family. With the grandchildren piled into the old red van, she travelled on the roads where ``you could see forever''. She told endless stories of her prairie life such as skating on the Saskatchewan River and train trips with her Mom from PA to Jasper (her dad being a train engineer). She treasured her special friendship with her lifetime friend, Phyllis Caldwell, and the very special friendships she made through her lifelong love of Bingo.
