Violet passed peacefully at Weatherby Pavilion in White Rock, B.C. on April 26, 2019.
She was born in Strome, Alberta in 1927. Violet was survived by sister Joan (Wally), cousin Margaret, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She was predeceased by brother David and sisters Mary, Anne and Rose.
Vi's employment was in accounting and she retired from ABC Customs Brokers (Pacific Border Brokers).
Her favourite place to be was her cottage at Pt. Roberts enjoying the friendship of neighbours and family as well as the outdoors that contributed to her happiness.
Vi's family would like to acknowledge the caring staff at Weatherby Pavilion as well as the Peace Arch Hospice Society volunteers who made her comfortable in her final days.
At Vi's request there will be no service. Donations may be made to the Peace Arch Hospice Society or The BC SPCA.
