Hallam, Vivienne Marie (nee Crask),

Sept. 4, 1922 - Feb. 13, 2009

Vivienne passed away Feb. 13, 2009 in the Peace Arch Hospital, into the presence of her Lord and Saviour whom she loved so deeply. Born in Powell River, Sept. 4, 1922, predeceased by her 3 sisters, Connie, Mona and Milly. In her early teens Vivienne and her mother left for Vancouver upon the death of her father, Robert W. Crask. Vivienne took up a successful career as a Dental Nurse. On Aug. 16, 1945 Vivienne married her teenage sweetheart F/O Daniel G. Hallam in Lethbridge, AB. In the years that followed, their children David and Debra were born. Vivienne proved to be a loving, understanding mother and wife, and in due course, a proud grandmother to James, Jon, Luke, Daniel and Mathew. She used her musical talents in her church, as well as significant time teaching the Beginners Class, and organizing the church library at Tenth Avenue Alliance Church. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love and compassion, her sincere concern for others, and by her husband, as the wife who more thanfulfilled his expectations. A beautiful memorial service was held at the Peace Arch Alliance Church, Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009. A memorial website is available at vivienne.hallams.ca
