It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Wallace McKay Harrold (Wally) on April 10, 2005.
He was born in Toronto on December 3, 1926 and had a strong Scottish upbringing.
He worked with General Motors automobile dealers for over 45 years and at one point owned the Border Pontiac/Buick dealership in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
He loved to fly and piloted various GA aircraft and had his own Fairchild Cornell trainer.
Wally met Peggy in Toronto and they were married in 1958.
They had a son, Scott, and a daughter Wendy.
The family moved to British Columbia in 1974 and settled in Richmond where Wally was still involved in the auto industry until he was 77 years old.
Wally was a Mason and loved to read and watch movies.
He will be missed by Peggy, his loving wife of 46 years, son Scott (Diane), daughter Wendy (Victor), grandsons Shawn, Alexander, Spencer and many friends.
Rest in Peace my sweets
We miss you Dad, Grandad.
