It is with great sadness we have to announce the passing of our beloved Bill on Wednesday, June 7th, 2017 at Peace Arch Hospital. Bill was predeceased by his father, James Birtch and mother Florence Layley. Bill, the youngest of nine children, was born February 15th, 1937 in Glaslyn, Saskatchewan before moving to Vanderhoof, BC a year later.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Barbara; his daughter Lorrie; stepsons, Mike, Ron and Guy French; grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sisters Mae, Edy and Hazel. Bill will be greatly missed by both family and friends for his love of life, golf and singing barbershop.
