William Dickinson

Age 90, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2005 at Delta View Habilitation Centre.

Bill is survived by his son Michael (Linda), granddaughters Danielle and Nicole and great-granddaughter Hope.

He is predeceased by his wife Eileen.

During WW2, he was a Flight Officer with the RCAF, based in eastern Canada.

Following his interest in aircraft, he worked with Avro Aircraft in Toronto producing the Jetliner, CF-100 and the Arrow, later working with McDonald Douglas Corp.

Bill enjoyed traveling extensively througout North America, the Caribbean and Europe, taking many cruises with Eileen.

He was a devoted father and great/grandfather who generously shared his great sense of humour and solid work ethic.

A Memorial service was held at St. Mark's Anglican Church, 12953 - 20th Avenue, South Surrey on Saturday, June 11,2005 at 3:00 pm. Refreshments followed the service.

Special thanks are given to the staff of Delta View who provided Bill with exceptional, compassionate care over the past four years.

Flowers are welcomed and donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of BC or the Canadian Cancer Society.
