Reidar Willy Hansen. March 29, 1921 – Feb. 17, 2012. Willy Hansen has strummed his last chord. A pioneer in the Cloverdale business community, Willy owned Hansen’s Quality Shoes. He served as a volunteer firefighter, president of the Cloverdale Junior Chamber of Commerce, and Exalted Ruler of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. With his wife Peggy, and daughters (Dee, Bev, Dianne) Willy was an active member of the United Church and brought joy to the lives of others through his love of music.
