Born February 17, 1935, died June 17, 2004.
Wilmot was born in Watson, Sask., moving with his family to Salmon Arm B.C. at the age of 11. At a young age he started working in the lumber industry but after a few years, switched to road construction, operating heavy equipment and then working as a mechanic.
Wilmot spent the last number of his working years as a crane operator in the lower mainland. He was a proud member of the I.U.O.E. Local 115 for the past 49 years. Wilmot was predeceased by his father, William, his mother, Katherina, sister Thelma and brother Harry.
He is survived by his daughter Angela, one grandson Crhistopher, one great granddaughter, Taylor, his brother Tim and wife Vella, a special friend Vivian, and many nieces and nephews.
