BRACHER, Winifred Jean
Passed away peacefully at home on August 7, 2010 at the age of 90 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Anne MacLean; her nephew Donald (Sharon) and niece Heather (Doug); and her great-nephews and nieces Jacob, Breanna, Mark, Julia, and Steven.
Win was an Associate Professor in Home Economics at the University of British Columbia. A lifelong traveler, she visited many countries, and loved the Performing Arts. In her later years, she enjoyed playing bridge and the company of the University Women's Club and their book club.
A memorial service will be held on August 16th at 11am at St. Michael's Anglican Church, 12996 - 60th Avenue, Surrey. Donations in Win's memory may be made to the BC Heart & Stroke Foundation.
