HORNE, Winnifred Ethel, WIN Horne - "don't call me Winnie" passed away peacefully on August 20, 2014. Win was a hard working mother of 3, Grandmother of 6, Great Grandmother of 3 and good friend to many. Thanks and appreciation to mom's partner Jim Robertson for his love, support and companionship of 25 years. Win is survived by her son Gary (Nadine) daughters Gaye & Janice, grandchildren David, Darren, Neome, Keah (Autumn), Karli (Jason), and Kacie and great grandchildren Jade, Arlen and Carter and sister's Evelyn and Elsie. Win is predeceased by her husbands Jack Victor Rose and Donald James Horne and siblings Alfred, Dorothy and Violet. Win's class, elegance, determination, independence, fortitude and 'you can do it' attitude carried her through life with dignity and grace. Win Horne was a fighter through all life's obstacles. Win was known for daily exercising and her love of Yoga, which she taught for over 45 years. She awed on the dance floor and knew every word to her era's songs. She was a wonderful mother and was loved by all who have been graced with her presence. Her strong spirit lives on through all the above mentioned offspring who are blessed to possess her many strengths. She will be greatly missed. We love you Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, partner, friend and sister. Until we meet again xox
