LEININGER, YVONNE LEATRICE "BONNIE" (nee Stubbs)
Born January 28th, 1930. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and friend. Bonnie was born in Nanaimo and remained a long time resident of Duncan, BC until falling ill in 2003. She was a devoted wife to Steve Leininger. She leaves behind her only son Bill (Tina) and her beloved grandchildren Billy and Alex, her sisters, Pat McLean and Joyce Hayes, her brother, Dennis Stubbs and many nieces and nephews whom she was very fond of. She was a good friend to all and a wonderful lady with a knack for gardening and knitting. Her sense of humour never failed her, and, until the end, she kept us smiling. A memorial in Bonnie's memory will be held on Wednesday, June 7th in Duncan at Sands Funeral Hall at 1:00 PM - Michael Hayes officiating. Thursday, June 8th a Memorial will be held grave side, at Victory Memorial Cemetery, Surrey, at 1:00 pm. No flowers please, donations can be made in Bonnie's name to the SPCA of your choice.
