As a Surrey Eagles fan, I want to thank the coaches and players for an exceptional year.

They are the BC Hockey League champions and the Western Canadian champions, and they conducted themselves very, very well in the Royal Bank Cup in P.E.I. for the Canadian championship.

Many of the players are going on to U.S. and Canadian schools to further their education and, regardless of what happens in the rest of their young lives, they will remember this year as a wonderful experience.

Matt and the team, thank you for making my year something special.

Barney Biggs, Surrey
