Michael Rafferty was finally sentenced for the brutal murder of a poor, innocent child named Tori Stafford.

This is where the Mexican jail should come into play and we wouldn’t have to deal with him or his ex-girlfriend, Terri-Lynne McClintic, anymore.

Instead, we shall have to be kept reminded as to Rafferty’s status, i.e. each time he has to be moved from one jail to another, each time he will be eligible for parole, oh, and undoubtedly he will be appealing his sentence, etc. Of course he is a sick person, so he doesn’t think he is guilty and will probably be wasting more taxpayers’ money by wanting to state his innocence.

He may even want to write a book. He will probably be enjoying the comforts of a warm cell with colour TV, three square meals and ice cream, and will probably get paid if he is allowed to work in the prison.

I just heard that they cut down the pay of prisoners from $6 per day to $4, and it saves taxpayers millions of dollars. I think they could do a lot better than that. At the same time they want to cut employment-insurance benefits for people to save money. Does that make sense?
