Re: Battle over B&B bylaw, April 4.
As I was out shopping, the owner of one of the bed and breakfasts stopped me and asked if I have seen the article in Peace Arch News about the bylaw council is bringing forward about bed and breakfasts.
She went on to say this bylaw would hurt tourism and destroy the bed and breakfast industry.
She stated council is behind the bed and breakfast people, it is staff who wants to bring in this bylaw.
I replied that in my opinion council has two choices: vote the bylaw down or, if they leave the decision to staff, then council should resign and let staff run for council.
