I voted for Hogg not his leader

Re: BC Liberals reject ‘hypothetical’ request, May 21.

What a horrifying thought that Premier Christy Clark might be parachuted into our riding to replace MLA Gordon Hogg.

Surely Hogg will not give up his seat for her. The only reason the BC Liberals got my vote this time around was because I could do nothing else but vote for the incumbent. My vote was for the person, not the leader.

I would certainly vote if there were a byelection but not for Clark.

For the first time in my life I might just spoil my ballot.
