Absolutely. The answer to this is very simple and straightforward.
In addition, not only ban the dogs but enforce the bylaw.
The parks/playing fields are used by young children. A dog that is running off-leash in these parks is not only a nuisance for their feces left behind and remnants thereof – which is unfortunately a frequent occurrence – but they are also a potential danger to the children.
Until such time that all dog owners have their dogs on leash and under control and pick up everything left behind, then please stay in the dog parks.
I don’t take my children and their friends to play baseball, soccer etc.in your dog parks. And if I did, how would you react?
The parks are to be enjoyed and respected by everyone.
