Why doesn’t Surrey tell the truth when it comes to the cost of owning a home, ie. taxes?
We moved from Vancouver where we paid less in taxes for a much larger home, and yet Surrey tells people the taxes in Surrey are lower than Vancouver.
In Vancouver water and sewer are included in the tax bill, whereas Surrey lists water and sewer separately, making one believe the taxes in Surrey are lower. But when you add the two together Surrey’s taxes are higher.
