On Friday, Jan. 7, about 12:30 p.m., my 86-year-old husband and I were attempting to get to our appointment at our doctor’s office in Alder Crossing on King George Boulevard, but the uncleared snow was so deep that my husband fell.

Fortunately, he was not injured, but he couldn’t get up. Very distressing! Two very kind young women were passing nearby and helped him to his feet.

I have no way to contact them to thank them for this wonderful kindness, but if they should happen to read this, I would like them to know how very much it meant to us and how greatly we appreciated their timely rescue.
