LETTERS: Blackberries threatening view over White Rock ‘hump’

Editor:

I am really happy that the hump has been growing back beautifully over the last few years. It really enhances the waterfront

I’m writing to express my desire that the City of White Rock would consider trimming the top of the hump along the pedestrian walkway and railing.

It is so pleasant to walk along the sidewalk over the hump and be able to see over the bay without obstruction of view, but have become aware that blackberries and other shrubs are beginning to grow to a height that will obstruct the view in the very near future.

Having lived here all my life, this has never been the case and it is wonderful to have the opportunity to enjoy the view from the hump.
