With the latest “virus” epidemic, some businesses are refusing payment in cash. Hopefully, this is only temporary, but with the ongoing rumors of a cashless society it should be noted that printed on every Canadian dollar denomination note is “This note is legal tender.”
It would seem that by not accepting Canadian money in Canada, they could be stretching the limits of the law.
