I see Ole Nygaard figures no car traffic on Marine Drive is a good idea. It’s not good for revitalization.
There’s a railway there and it’s not going anywhere, so maybe make Marine into one-lane traffic with a different parking setup along the road, on one side only – that’s good for business. It may alleviate some of the traffic, plus it would become safer for people walking to the beach. That’s the reason everybody goes down there, to eat and go to the beach. Going one-way works in many communities all over, such as Langley City’s main drag.
