Summer camp went on for Rowan Raynault

Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the 20 families whose children were able to the ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) Summer Camp last month, to thank the church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in South Surrey.

For the past three years, the Surrey School District has hosted this camp for students who have autism.

However, because of the ongoing labour strife and potential picketing at schools this summer, the ABA camp was forced to quickly find an alternate site.

The congregation in South Surrey graciously donated their church facilities so that our children would not miss out on their summer camp.

As a parent of one of the students who attended the ABA camp, I would like to extend my sincere thanks for their generosity.
