Perhaps the writer should get her facts right before she submits future letters. The union has not indicated a desire to strike, rather the employer/Canada Post has threatened a lockout! Very different!
Further, I don’t think the answer is privatization where the private contractor makes huge profits and employees work for minimum wage, as has often happened on the past. Fair open negotiations should be at play here.
I sympathize with the author about her mail and suggest a trip to her local post office might be the answer if indeed she still has one.
