The government is asking B.C. residents to register to be vaccinated.

My husband and I received our first dose of the COVID vaccine in mid March.

We were explicitly told, at the time, that we would be automatically registered to receive our second dose, and the government would notify us, by text, email or phone, when it’s our turn to book an appointment to get our second dose.

We have found out that the automatic booking did not happen for us, nor did it happen for many of our friends and relatives, in the Fraser Health area, nor in the Okanagan, so the problem might be province-wide. Anyone who was vaccinated before early April, and is under the assumption that they were automatically registered to receive notification for a second dose, should check to confirm their registration.

The phone number is: 1-833-838-2323.

When you phone, have your immunization record card handy (the one you were given when you were vaccinated), as well as your Health Care Card, in case you still need to be registered.
