Re: Install a triggered light, Dec. 30 letters

I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking how ridiculous the lights are at 32 Avenue and the cemetery (the street doesn’t even have a name on it).

I sent an email to the City of Surrey to the person who is listed as “in charge” according to the City’s website for 32 Avenue, and I have yet to get a reply.

I just wanted to add to Cher Cartwright’s observation that the road going into the cemetery is closed, I believe after 6 p.m., and on the other side, the gates are also closed to the Morgan Creek maintenance yard. So last night heading to Southpoint, nine cars were stopped in front of the cemetery and we were all staring at the closed gates.

Coming back, again the lights were red and only eight cars were caught at the light. Two minutes of my life I won’t get back, and I’m sure that most of us will encounter the red lights there 100 times this coming year.
