Re: Some shoppers cross the line, Nov. 9 letters.

It’s great to hear that letter-writer Cynthia Taha’s mother is 76 years old and so healthy.

The burning question here is: what the heck are Canadians doing shopping in the States anyway?

Take a few moments away from your relentless pursuit of so-called bargains and consider the following: The next time you need any kind of medical care, which hospital will you be visiting? Where do you think the money to fund your medical visits comes from? Why are you so reluctant to pay taxes in your own country?

For those of you Canadians who shop in the States and use a handicap sticker to boot, what are you thinking?
