LETTERS: Neither Liberals nor Conservatives have earned our trust

Editor:

Gordie Hogg says Jody Wilson-Raybould acted “outside the best interests of the party.”

That is an incredible statement. We live in a democracy, don’t we?

The rule of law, the independence of the DPP, the independence of the AG, right vs. wrong – those are the things that matter.

Do political and corporate interests overrule? The trust was broken when Justin Trudeau, et al, started to pressure her to change her decision.

There is no doubt that exactly the same thing would have happened under a Conservative government, as Stephen Harper and crew so ably demonstrated in the Mike Duffy/Nigel Wright affair.

Neither the Liberals nor the Conservatives deserve our trust.
