Regarding allowing dogs on the promenade during the off-season:

I get it, change is hard to accept. For some, it can be down right disconcerting.

Allowing dogs on-leash on the promenade during the off-season is a change that those opposed to the notion see no reason to endure.

But a trial period is just that – an opportunity to try something new and see if it works.

The fear mongering brought forth by the “no dogs on my promenade” side of the issue is unjustified.

Bring on the trial and let the people judge.
