Re: Sympathy appreciated, March 3 letters

I find it questionable and disappointing you chose to print this viewpoint by C. Schroedter.

The author of this note clearly has a flair for the dramatic, referring to her heartfelt sympathy and understanding of the “courageous” truckers.

Let me tell you this, there should be no sympathy for any individuals who swarm the media with insults, threats, and general disrespect, as was witnessed and documented at the Pacific Border Crossing.

These individuals are being investigated by Surrey RCMP for potential assault charges.

Several of the local media were spit on by your so-called “courageous” individuals and, C. Schroedter, if you think this is courageous or in any way something to be sympathetic to, I have a descriptive word for you – shame.
