You are running political opinion columns regularly by Tom Fletcher (BC Views), who constantly writes such negative and untruthful information, from the point of view that economic interests must always take precedence over ecological considerations.
I feel you have a responsibility to run a companion column by a writer who reflects a different perspective: a sustainable, collaborative vision where we all work together as best we can to make the shift being demanded by ecological imperatives such as climate change.
The shift towards a low-carbon, renewable energy future where we shape our economic activities to function within the carrying capacity of nature; the shift towards respecting First Nations and all human rights; the shift towards restoring ecosystems and wild salmon to abundance.
I really enjoy PAN because you report on local issues. Please include a counterbalance to help your readers be informed of another perspective than that of Mr. Fletcher.
