Last week, due to having a hard time breathing, my doctor told me to call an ambulance and go to Peace Arch Hospital.

With reluctance, I called and I wanted you to know that from the 911 call until the ambulance got to my door, I was treated so amazingly well. Off to the emergency, I was rushed into a makeshift isolation room. I was greeted by a team of doctors and nurses who took such command of my situation that I knew I was in excellent care.

I was put on a breathing machine to breathe for me until they could figure out whether or not I tested positive for COVID-19

Nothing like this has ever happened to me. As much as I watch and read the news, I now have firsthand knowledge of just how caring and skillful the medical team was for me. Thankfully, I’m home.
