After reading about the irresponsible behaviour of a mid-20s male driver, I am astonished that there was no mention of an immediate automatic suspension of his driving licence.
Most people realize that driving is a privilege, not a right. I don’t think that $2,000 in fines will do anything to change this driver’s behaviour – but a year’s suspension of his driving licence might.
What does it take to get him off the road?
