With Surrey’s latest bylaw amendment, banning lawn signs on private property supporting keeping the RCMP in Surrey, it is becoming abundantly clear that Mayor McCallum and his so called “gang of four” are deathly afraid of having a binding referendum on the Surrey policing issue forced upon them.

This should be a wake-up call for every Surrey resident to stand up against this dictatorial style of government, which has been the hallmark of this mayor since his election.

Seek out where petition signing opportunities arise in the last four weeks of the campaign and let your voice be heard. The rising cost of your property tax dollars are at stake here. An email address for information can be found on the bottom of any KTRIS lawn sign.
