Regarding this quote attributed to Retail Council of Canada vice-president Mark Startup: “Nothing will convince them (some cross-border shoppers) to keep their dollars in Canada.”
One wonders what might happen if the council were to take an active and visible role in encouraging its members to lower prices and improve service.
