We are students in Grades 5 and 6 from Jessie Lee Elementary. We write to inform you about poaching, which is illegal in our country.
We think that by telling you this, it will help make a change in poaching.
Poaching is a deadly crime against wildlife. Poaching is international. In some countries it may be legal, but here are some facts you may want to know:
In seven African countries, lions are extinct, the population of black rhinos has gone down by 97.6 per cent since 1960 and fewer than 900 mountain gorillas remain in Africa.
We would like you to care about this as much as we do.
