I realize the cherry trees on Johnson Road were destroying the sidewalk and needed to be cut down (Upset over early-morn tree cutting, Feb. 28), but like many South Surrey people, I miss them at this time of year.
Attached, at left, is my photographic tribute to their memory. I call it “White Rock Cherry Blossom Festival, 2018.”
