Re: Young words are wise words, Oct. 31 letters.
As one of the co-authors of the West Coast Christian Accord – now signed by 450 pastors and 3,500 other people – I noticed that letter-writer Maureen Kerr suggested that the WCCA was using the Bible “as a whip to drive home our own biases?”
Might the Bible be seen instead as a trustworthy source of wisdom and encouragement? I would invite thoughtful readers to read the WCCA document for themselves at www.westcoastchristianaccord.com and come to their own conclusions.
Some of us from a scientific basis have concerns over SOGI’s gender-fluidity message, with the consequences of some B.C. children ending up sterile from taking puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.
